Pinterest Project #2

Here comes pinterest project number dos. This one was much easier than the last one. I have been wanting to do this project for a while, and now it's finally done! And a shout out to my hubby for patiently waiting at the craft store and helping me decide which paper to use. If you want step-by-step directions and to see the original site I used, click here: DIY card mini-album.

What I started with

Nate cutting the cardboard for me

Back cover of the album

Finished product!

I am so happy with how it turned out. If you decide to do something like this, be sure to have two rings available because most likely, all your cards won't fit in one. I don't have a pinterest project number 3 in mind. I'll have to keep browsing :).

Pinterest Project #1

Nate and I happened to have very similar bookcases when we got married, but after moving to Indy, we decided they needed sprucing up. So we decided to put wallpaper on the back. I thought this would be a simple, cheap project to make them "new" again. Well, not so much. There's a lot of steps involved, at least how we did it. Nate was determined to replace the cheap cardboard on the back with plywood, which added to the difficulty and cost.  But we are happy with them. See for yourself.

Nate said that MY project turned into HIS project :)

Letting the wallpaper soak in water - I had no idea, and I mean
NO idea that wallpaper was soaked in water first.

Cheddar - always in on the action

I'm about to start my next pinterest project! I think this one will be more fun for me. But for all who know me, I'm not crafty crafty. So we'll see.
