Nate and I just made it back to good 'ole GI last night, so now we're going to try and catch everyone up on everything that we did in Hawaii and show off some pics. We decided to save ourselves a flight and we drove to Denver instead of Omaha (I regretted this decision after a long boring drive to Denver and a drive back to GI after a red eye and 3 flights). Thursday evening we left GI after I got off work and stayed in a hotel that offered free parking. We had the pleasure of meeting the Osterbergs at the Denver airport Friday morning. I was pleasantly surprised and that means two weekends in a row we were able to see them - woohoo!!
We flew US Airways on the way over and after a very long and uncomfortable flight, we finally made it to Maui.

Just landed - Maui airport
Surprise, surprise, Nate finds the ONLY Krispy Kreme in Hawaii and we stop to buy doughnuts for the next morning's breakfast on our way to the resort.
We finally made it to our resort at Ka'anapali Beach Club. We loved loved it here and would totally stay again!!!

Looking into the lobby - I loved how everything was open
They had about 6 parrots in the lobby who would talk and whistle all day - so much fun!
The resort was really nice in setting us up with a lady named Kari who booked all our excursions for us and and knew the best prices/companies in Maui. All we had time left, and energy, was dinner. So we freshened up and walked down the beach a few resorts over to a place called Duke's.

I had kabobs - very good!

Nate had seafood risotto
|
After Duke's we mustered up enough energy to walk across the street and pick up a few groceries and get some gelato
More to come on our adventures later!!!
