This is the recipe I decided to go with: DIY Laundry Detergent
I chose this recipe because it's not a liquid, which seemed to be less messy. She also seemed to do a lot of research before settling on her particular recipe, so I appreciated that too.

My thoughts:
- I didn't heed the warnings very well, but make sure you have the windows open or mix it up outside (lots of dust flying, and it's a strong smell)
- Microwaving the soap makes it a lot easier, in fact, it's super easy
- Was able to mix it all together fairly quickly
- I used Fels Naptha because I couldn't find Zote soap
- It seems to get our clothes clean, but we don't necessarily have grass and mud stains everywhere.
- I love the smell; it just smells clean. That's the best way I can describe it.
We also recently made a daily shower spray and love that as well :).

That looks similar to our laundry soap too. I love the way it smells too. I'd love to know your recipe for the daily shower spray.
